Taxpayers are not the only people scared of taxes!

It turns out that politicians are just as scared of voter’s reactions to proposed tax laws as we are of how they will change those laws.
Taxes are a big part of our lives. From the moment we are born till after we depart from this world, tax implications both direct and indirect abound. This may be one reason that the Senate Finance Committee had to promise senators to keep submitted tax legislation proposals secret for the next 50 years.
According to a CNN article, submitted proposed tax legislation will not be released to the public till December 31, 2064. Any documentation released before that date will be modified so as to avoid identifying the source of the submission. So going forward, the average citizen will not be able to understand the tax code and they will also not know who to thank for it either. Got to love politics.
